Benirrás Beach is a favourite for the bohemia souls who live in the North of the island.

Known by UK tourists as “bongo beach” it has become a tradition to gather and watch the local hippies play the drums and dance as the sun sets into the sea.

Sundays are especially busy in the summer, so choose another day or make sure you arrive in the afternoon before the road is blocked by the police.
