Sluiz Returns: New Store, Same Santa Gertrudis Vibe
Sluiz, the popular furniture and decor store, has reopened in a new location just across the street from its previous spot in Santa Gertrudis. The move follows a forced closure by the Santa Eulària City Council due to licensing issues and safety concerns. Despite the setback, Sluiz is back and ready to welcome customers with its usual quirky charm.

Sluiz has reopened in a new location on Santa Gertrudis Road.
The store was previously closed due to licensing violations and safety risks.
The original location was involved in unpermitted extensions on rural land.
Sluiz informed customers of its closure with a last-minute sales event.

Visit The Island’s Salt Flats in Salinas National Park

Start your visit at the Centre d’Interpretació Sant Francesc, an information centre in the building attached to the white church on the main road into the salt flats.
The centre is small, but gives you an interesting insight into the history of the salt flats and the animals and plant life that you can expect to find.
Ask for a copy of a map of the area marked with different view points and spend the afternoon exploring the fascinating natural park.
Opposite the information centre is Bar San Francisco which always seems to have a great buzz and is a great place to grab a drink.
